Joe Oliveri - Vice President & General Manager

Joe Oliveri is Vice President and General Manager for Tyco Integrated Security.

Oliveri has been with the company for more than 12 years, serving most recently as Regional Vice President, East Region, for Tyco Integrated Security, where he was responsible for the sales, service and installation teams in the East Region of the United States and for the company’s retail operations in Canada. Prior to this role, he held positions as General Manager, Area General Manager and Regional Group Director of Operations. He covered both the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states in his role as Regional Group Director of Operations and managed operating budgets of over $375 million.

Prior to joining Tyco, he led teams for Vision Systems, Inc. as SVP, North and South America and VP, Sales and Marketing. At Vision Systems, Inc., Oliveri was credited for his innovative strategies that enabled new market penetration, increasing sales revenue by 75 percent in a three-year period. Earlier in his career he managed groups at Johnson Controls, Inc. from 1991-98.

Joe currently resides in Smithtown, NY. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Hank Monaco, Vice President, Marketing

Hank Monaco is Vice President of Marketing for Tyco Integrated Security. Monaco joined Tyco in 2001 and has held various roles of increasing responsibility within the marketing organization. As Vice President of Marketing, Monaco leads Customer and Competitive Intelligence, Pricing, Internal and External Communications, Branding and Demand Creation, Digital Marketing, and Vertical Market Development. Hank and his marketing team are responsible for helping TycoIS meet customer needs profitably. 

Prior to joining Tyco, Monaco led marketing for the security division of Ameritech (now AT&T). While there, he helped the company grow from a regional provider to the number two market share position in North America. 

Before entering the electronic security industry, Monaco held brand management and product development roles in the consumer packaged goods industry. At M&M Mars, he was responsible for growing and managing a $200 million portfolio of frozen snack brands including Dove Bar and Snickers Ice Cream. 

Monaco earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.



Mike Moran, Vice President, Sales

Mike Moran is Vice President, Sales, for Tyco Integrated Security. In this position, Mike has accountability for driving sales performance, setting goals and direction and improving processes and practices across North America. National Accounts, Core Commercial, Government and Small Business channels all report to Mike.

Mike has more than 20 years of experience with Tyco. Prior to his current role, he served as Regional Vice President, Central Region, where he executed on the strategic and tactical initiatives established by the Tyco Integrated Security senior leadership team and was responsible for the sales, service and installation teams in the Central Region of the United States.

Other roles during his Tyco career have included Regional Group Director where he was responsible for over $350 million in combined new/recurring sales revenues and 90 percent customer retention. He also was an Area Sales Manager, where he led core commercial, small business and resale sales channels in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota districts to drive more than $24 million in sales. Mike also served as Group General Manager/Regional Vice President where he managed the Midwest region with revenues in excess of $200 million and 31 percent operating income. He began with the company as General Manager overseeing Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, responsible for sales, operations and P&L management of the $22 million district and ranking number one nationwide multiple times during his nine-year tenure in the position.

He attended the Illinois Institute of Technology and currently resides in Madison, WI.



John Gaydos, Vice President, Federal Systems

John Gaydos is Vice President of the Federal Systems Division for Tyco Integrated Security. Tyco Integrated Security’s Federal Systems Division serves the Federal civilian agency, Department of Defense and government contractor customers.

Gaydos has been with Tyco for over 20 years, holding leadership roles in the areas of National Accounts, Integrated Systems Sales and Engineering, State and Local National Accounts and Federal Systems. He has demonstrated consistent growth in his vertical market responsibilities and has developed several new markets creating new double digit growth opportunities for the company in North America.

Gaydos earned his Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of several Industry associations including the Security Industry Association’s Government Relations Committee, ASIS International, Smart Card Alliance and NCMS. He currently resides in Alexandria, VA.



Daryl Haga, Director, Centers of Excellence

Daryl Haga is Director, Centers of Excellence, for Tyco Integrated Security.

Haga has been with Tyco for more than 30 years and has held various positions, including engineering, operations, and enterprise/strategic sales.

In his current role, Haga manages the Tyco Integrated Security Centers of Excellence (CoE) Network for Application Engineering and Program Management. This includes the Global Center of Excellence (GCoE) in Birmingham, AL, and the National Center of Excellence in Denver, CO, as well as the associated functions linked to the Centers of Excellence. Among his responsibilities is the management of the overall business strategy and operations including overseeing a team of highly trained and multilingual engineers and program management experts.

Haga was responsible for the creation of the Tyco Global Center of Excellence from its initial concept to organizational implementation. Importantly, one of his key accomplishments was successfully guiding the U.S.-based GCOE to ISO 9001:2008 certification. The GCOE in Birmingham, AL, is the first such center in the security industry to achieve the internationally recognized certification.

He is currently leading the effort to create Tyco’s Global CoE Network that will pull together CoEs around the world to drive consistency and efficiencies between Tyco’s CoEs globally.
