Who do I call for support?
You will continue to use the same numbers as you always used for support. Over time, the numbers for billing, monitoring and service will be gradually transitioned over to Tyco Integrated Security. We will let you know if, and when, you should be directing your calls to another number.
What about my billing and invoice?
For about the first 60-90 days after the acquisition, you will continue to receive your invoices from CFI Security. Once your account is fully transitioned, you will receive your first invoice from Tyco Integrated Security. The invoice will clearly indicate any changes on how to remit your payment.
Will the same people support my account?
Tyco Integrated Security is working closely with the management of CFI Security to ensure a seamless transition, so it is possible that many of the same people will be supporting your account.
How long will it take to fully integrate the companies?
It will take approximately 60-90 days to seamlessly transfer your account to Tyco Integrated Security. While we will work quickly to transfer customer data to our systems, it takes a little time. During this time, you will continue to receive invoices from CFI Security. Sometime between 60-90 days after the acquisition, you will receive your first Tyco Integrated Security invoice.

Will my rates change?
We have no immediate plans to change your current pricing. We will evaluate your service contract as it comes up for renewal just was we do with all of our customers.
I am a residential customer, how will I be affected by the acquisition?
While Tyco Integrated Security’s primary focus is commercial security, we have the means to support your residential security needs. We will keep you informed of any changes, and your residence will be protected throughout the transition.
I require a UL system or a government regulated system. Does Tyco Integrated Security have that capability?
All Tyco Integrated Security Customer Monitoring Centers ("CMCs") are engineered, built and operated in full compliance with the strict requirements of Underwriters Laboratory ("UL"), Standards UL827 and UL2050 and Underwriters Laboratory Canada ("ULC"). These standards mandate design criteria regarding a monitoring facility’s construction, telecommunication capabilities and back-up electrical power capabilities. The standards further mandate requirements for alarm handling procedures and redundancy capabilities for operating computers and receiving equipment. Tyco Integrated Security’s monitoring facilities undergo rigorous annual inspections by UL and ULC to ensure compliance with all specifications. In addition, because Tyco Integrated Security US is a Department of Defense ("DOD") contractor, selected US monitoring facilities are further required to pass annual DOD inspections in order to maintain DOD certification.
My municipality requires an alarm permit. Will I have to get another permit due to this acquisition?
We will work with your municipality to ensure alarm permits are transferred. We will let you know if you need to take any action.
Do I need to issue a new W-9 or get a copy? What do I do about the tax number?
How do I get an insurance certificate from Tyco Integrated Security?
You may download a certificate of insurance evidencing Tyco Integrated Security insurance coverage from www.tycois.com/about-us/support
. Once your account is fully transitioned into our system (that process takes up to 90 days), you can request a certificate of insurance naming you as a certificate holder. You will need to call 800-2-TYCOIS and make the request.
Will my customer number change?
Yes, your customer number will change. You will see your new number on the first invoice you receive from Tyco Integrated Security.
I have ACH or autopay set up. Will I have to do anything to ensure my payments go to the right place?
Yes, in most cases you will need to re-enroll in automatic payments so that Tyco Integrated Security is authorized to charge your account. Importantly, your first invoice from Tyco Integrated Security will not be automatically charged to your account. Instructions and a new enrollment form will be provided on your first invoice from Tyco Integrated Security, which you can expect to see within 60 to 90 days.
Where do I remit my payments now that my account will be moving to Tyco Integrated Security?
Please continue to pay your invoices as you have in the past. Sometime between 60-90 days after the acquisition, you will receive your first Tyco Integrated Security invoice. Remittance instructions will be included on your first Tyco Integrated Security invoice.
I would like to have new signage/stickers that reflect Tyco Integrated Security. How do I get these?
Please call 800-2-TYCOIS (800-289-2647) to request new signage and stickers. Additionally, upon the first visit to your premise by a Tyco Integrated Security service technician, you will receive new stickers and signage.
