We’ve now explored the role of customers and programs in bolstering innovation. The last piece of an innovation strategy is implementing these elements into ultimate solution development. As markets continue to evolve, and new needs are uncovered, innovative solutions that address those needs – and future ones – are essential.

Here are some of the innovative solutions that have come out of Tyco’s innovation center in Tel Aviv and were created in collaboration with our customers and their feedback.

  • PointGrab: an innovative sensor for smart buildings, provides valuable data on occupant behavior. PointGrab's edge-analytics sensing solution, in a unified device, delivers actionable insights for office space management, energy saving and retail analytics.
  • Convexum: a proactive anti-drone system, prevents intrusions into private airspace by automatically taking over and safely landing the drones in a predefined location.
  • Percepto: an autonomous drone solution for perimeter protection and securing facilities, includes fence patrols, suspect detection and tracking, smoke detection, fire detection, gas leak detection and more.
  • Magos Ground Based Radar: a cutting-edge technology for rapid response to campus security issues, including active shooter events and security team support.

These solutions bring a comprehensive innovation approach full circle, and showcase Tyco’s drive for forward thinking solutions. Once they are deployed, organizations can leverage their customers and programs for feedback and make advancements to the solutions as needed, enabling them to continually innovate.

It’s the beginning of a new year and the perfect time to start thinking about how your company can drive innovation. What type of solutions are you hoping to deploy this year? Share in the comments below.
